This December 5, 2025, at 6:30 AM, the Capuchin fraternity gathered at Bahay Capuchino as Brs. Martin, Joseph, Emel, Jasson, and Derick were formally installed into the ministries of Lectorate and Acolytate. This significant step marks their deeper dedication to the service of the Word and the Altar within the life of the Church and the Order.
The celebration was presided over by Fr. Edgar Martinez, OFMCap., Provincial Minister, whose presence reminded us of our unity as a Province. With him were Br. Valentine Gompok, OFMCap. as concelebrant and witness, together with Br. Joel de Jesus, OFMCap., The Holy Mass integrated with Lauds provided a prayerful and dignified context for the installation, reminding the community that ministry flows from a life rooted in prayer, humility, and faithful commitment. Following the Eucharistic celebration, a simple agape brought the brothers together in joyful communion.
Let us continue to support and pray for our brothers as they begin this new chapter of ministry. May their service to the Word and the Altar deepen their love for Christ, enrich their formation, and inspire all of us to renewed fidelity to our Capuchin calling.
