The brothers gathered at Sta. Teresita Parish on Monday, November 24, 2025, for our Advent Recollection and Proclamation. The program began at 9:00 AM with the welcoming of the brothers and an introduction to the season of Advent led by Br. Bert San Diego, who helped set the tone for the day by highlighting the importance of entering the season with openness and readiness.

Following this, Br. Pipo Casimiro offered a deeper presentation on the meaning and spirit of Advent from the perspective of our Capuchin life. His sharing encouraged the brothers to reflect on how the values of simplicity, fraternity, and humility shape the way we prepare for the season ahead.

The morning continued with a sharing from Br. Joeni Ygonia, who recently attended the Capuchin Brothers’ Conference in Rome. He spoke about his experience, the insights he gained, and the fraternity he witnessed among brothers from different parts of the world. His testimony added a broader sense of connection to our gathering.

After the inputs and sharing, the brothers entered into the Penitential Celebration presided by Br. Ron Ojeda, Guardian of the STP Fraternity. It offered everyone a moment to pause, recollect themselves, and enter the season with a renewed sense of clarity and peace. The day concluded with a joyful Agape, giving the brothers time to share food, conversation, and camaraderie.

As we step into Advent, may this recollection remind us that the Lord comes softly into our fraternity, our ministries, our struggles, and our hopes. May we walk together in faith, preparing the way for His light.
