The Archconfraternity of Our Lady of Lourdes successfully held its Advent Recollection last November 29 at the Capuchin Retreat Center in Lipa, Batangas. The event gathered 236 participants from various confraternities across Pampanga, Bulacan, NCR, Cavite, and Batangas.
The recollection was graced by the presence of Fr. Edgar Martinez, OFMCap, Spiritual Director of the Archconfraternity who accompanied them throughout their spiritual journey. He was joined by Fr. Franz Atienza, OFMCap. who served as their facilitator for the day. His reflections provided the participants with a deeper understanding of Advent and encouraged them to enter the season with renewed faith and simplicity of heart.
Throughout the day, participants engaged in moments of quiet reflection, prayer, and fraternal fellowship. The serene environment of the retreat center contributed to a peaceful and meaningful experience for everyone.
It was a simple day, but very meaningful; a time to pause, reflect, and be with one another as brothers and sisters in the Archconfraternity. As we enter the Advent season, may we bring with us the insights, the fraternal spirit we experienced, and inspire each member in their devotion that Our Lady of Lourdes, and their commitment to grow closer to Christ Jesus.
