Last October 11, we joyfully gathered at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, Quezon City to celebrate the 25th Silver Presbyteral Anniversary of Fr. Ron Artemio E. Ojeda, OFMCap.

It was truly a day of grace and gratitude. The Holy Mass, presided by Fr. Edgar S. Martinez, OFMCap., our Provincial Minister, was filled with heartfelt thanksgiving as he led Fr. Ron in the renewal of his priestly vows. During his homily, Fr. Edgar recalled and shared his graceful experiences with Fr. Ron, reminding us how God’s providence continues to unfold through the years of friendship and service. Indeed, God’s grace overflows in the life of one who faithfully serves.

The celebration made it more special by the presence of the brothers from different fraternities together with Fr. Ron’s beloved family and friends. Their presence spoke of the deep bonds, uniting and strengthening us through the years of shared mission, laughter, and prayer.

After the Mass, we gathered for a simple Agape at the school gymnasium. The simplicity of the celebration made it even more meaningful because it reflected the Franciscan spirit of humility and thanksgiving.

As I looked around, I could not help but thank the Lord for the gift of Fr. Ron’s priestly life, twenty-five years of faithful and fraternal service, quiet strength, and unwavering love for God’s people. His journey reminds us that our vocation is a daily “yes” to God’s call, sustained by grace and strengthened by fraternity.

May this milestone continue to inspire us all to serve with the same joy, generosity, and faithfulness, trusting that God, who began His good work in us, will bring it to completion.
