In a spirit of communion and stewardship, the Provincial Commission on Local Economy and Properties (PCLEP) gathered on July 29, 2025, beginning the day with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 6:30 AM at Bahay Capuchino. The Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Edgar Martinez, OFMCap, in the company of the brothers serving as Local Economo from various fraternities, along with the Provincial Accounting Staff. This sacred celebration set the tone of gratitude and fraternal unity for the day’s activities.

Following the Holy Eucharist, a simple breakfast was shared, offering a meaningful moment for fraternal bonding and joyful conversation among the brothers.

The PCLEP meeting formally commenced with a series of property visits to various sites of the Order located in Bulacan, Marikina, and Sampaloc, Manila. These visits served not only as logistical and evaluative tasks but also as a form of fraternal endorsement and orientation, especially for the younger or newly appointed brothers, to help them become more acquainted with the properties of the Order and to inspire them toward responsible stewardship.

This gathering reaffirmed our collective commitment to the wise and transparent management of our temporal goods, in the spirit of simplicity, solidarity, and accountability. Rooted in our Capuchin charism, the day was a beautiful expression of our call to serve both the spiritual and material needs of the fraternity with fidelity and love. Peace and all good.
