The New Academic Year Has Officially Begun!
July 28, 2025 | Our Lady of Lourdes Seminary in Lipa City marked the opening of the academic year with the traditional Mass of the Holy Spirit. The celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Edgar S. Martinez, OFMCap., our Provincial Minister, and was attended by Friar Professors, Formators, brothers in initial formation, Lay Professors, and close friends of the seminary community.
In true Franciscan spirit, we invoked the Holy Spirit as our guide and source of wisdom for the year ahead. With open hearts, we prayed: “Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful and kindle in us the fire of Your love.”
As we embark on another year of formation and study, we entrust ourselves to God’s ever-flowing grace. May this academic journey shape us into humble and joyful instruments of peace, dedicated to serving the Church and the world with compassion, simplicity, and love.
