The Archconfraternity of Our Lady of Lourdes (ACOLL), led by National President Sr. Effie Miraflor, Secretary Sr. Beth Yumul San Antonio, and Vice President for Luzon Sr. Lala Velasco, experienced a grace-filled pilgrimage as they joined the 5th Anniversary of the Canonical Coronation on August 22, 2025. More than a celebration of a historic milestone, it became a profound reminder of Mary’s maternal care and her constant invitation to draw closer to Christ through her example of faith and humility.
Representing Cebu, Tessafel Parino, Lemuel Montecillo, Ellis Mendez, Glenda Arwan, Raziel Atienza, Ethel Veloso, Emily Robles, Elsa Robles, Sheena Abellana, Joan Atienza, Maribeth Bacaltos, Catalina Mamon, Maria Isabel Pilapil, Rouie Gascon, Patrocenio Monsanto, James Guinitaran, Norma Macasero, Chiena Banate, Elizabeth Dy, Veberlen Patlingrao, Wilma Omerez, Alice Armilla, Jumie Armilla and Maybel Donairi journeyed with grateful hearts, bringing prayers, intentions, and thanksgiving for the countless blessings Our Lady continues to bestow upon her devoted children.
On August 23, the group was warmly received by Provincial Minister and Spiritual Director, Fr. Edgar Martinez, who offered words of encouragement and renewal. This fraternal encounter became a moment to rediscover the deeper call of their mission, to live in the spirit of Mary, who listens, serves, and loves without measure.
Later, the members joined the Grand Procession of the Blessed Mother, a public testament of faith and devotion that stirred hearts and uplifted spirits. Visits to various Jubilee Churches capped the pilgrimage, allowing moments of prayerful reflection, thanksgiving, and a renewed commitment to spread Marian devotion.
Indeed, this pilgrimage was not merely a celebration, it was a spiritual homecoming. Under Mary’s mantle, ACOLL members are reminded to live their mission with deeper faith, stronger unity, and greater love for God and His people.
