On July 1, 2025 at 9:00 in the morning, Br. Edgar Martinez, the Provincial Minister, held a meaningful Pastoral Visit and Local Chapter at the Santa Teresita Fraternity.
Br. Ron Ojeda, Guardian of the Santa Teresita Fraternity, along with Br. Rolando Datu, Post Novice Director, together with the Post Novices who are currently pursuing their philosophical studies at the Christ the King Seminary warmly welcomed Br. Egay in their Fraternity.
The Pastoral Visit underscores the Provincial Minister’s role in fostering fraternal unity, animating the Brothers in their life and mission, and ensuring that the Capuchin spirit continues to flourish at the local fraternity level. This is in accordance with the Capuchin Constitutions which state:
“The pastoral visitation prescribed by the Rule and universal law contributes much to the inspiration and renewal of our life, and to the unity of the brothers… During the visitation, the ministers or other brothers delegated to conduct it shall have a sincere conversation with the brothers, both individually and communally, about everything, whether spiritual or temporal that protects and fosters their life. Let them not neglect the visitation of the houses” (Const. 164,1-3)
This gathering was an occasion animated by the spirit of dialogue, sharing, and mutual encouragement which paved the way in strengthening the bonds of Brotherhood and renewing the community’s commitment to their Franciscan and Capuchin vocation.
