LET US PRAY: Pour forth we beseech You, O Lord, Your grace into our hearts that we to whom the incarnation of Christ Your Son was made known by the message of an angel may by His passion and cross be brought to the glory of His resurrection through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Father of love and mercy, You who directed us to follow St. Francis in the life and poverty of Your Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, renew within us the dedication and desire to walk this way of Seraphic Love. May St. Francis, our Founder and inspiration, remind us of the beauty and power of the Franciscan life so that with thanksgiving and praise we may always be willing to encourage others to follow Christ as we do. May our Lady of Lourdes, our Mother and Patroness of our Province, be the pattern of our Capuchin life and the joy of our vocation by keeping us true to the inspiration of the Holy Spirit by her powerful intercession through Christ our Lord. O Christ Jesus, You called our Blessed Father Francis to evangelical perfection under the banner of poverty and had during his lifetime wonderfully multiplied his disciples, the Friars Minor, speak to the hearts of young men of our time and give them a love for our Capuchin life and the courage to answer Your call, in order that as brothers minor they may soon labor with us in sanctity, prayer and the apostolate, to gather a plentiful harvest for Your glory. We earnestly beseech You through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, Queen of our Order and Patroness of our Province, and of our Seraphic Father, St. Francis. Amen.
